Postdoctoral researcher at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, PhD Gulzhan Khamitova, has been appointed as an Assistant Editor for the journal Molecules, published by MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute), a well-known publishing house specializing in open-access scientific journals.
The journal Molecules is indexed in the Web of Science database, where it holds a Q2 ranking in the categories Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Chemistry (according to the Journal Citation Reports). It is also indexed in Scopus, ranked Q1 in the category Organic Chemistry (CiteScore).
Currently, Gulzhan Khamitova is conducting joint scientific research with the University of Camerino within the framework of the project AR22685366 titled “Chemical analysis of honey composition and determination of its geographical origin”, funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
