Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov continues to strengthen its international scientific cooperation. Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the University of Zurich, large-scale research is being conducted under the leadership of Professor Peter Finke. This project is aimed at enhancing intellectual capital, contributing not only to the development of science at the university but also to the overall research potential of the entire region. The joint work with European colleagues once again reaffirms the status of Zhetysu University as an open academic platform committed to integration into the global scientific community.
Special attention within this collaboration is given to the training of young Kazakhstani scholars. Doctoral students and early-career researchers are actively involved in international projects, gaining unique experience working in interdisciplinary teams and mastering modern methods of scientific analysis. Such initiatives represent an important step in building a new generation of Kazakhstani scientists capable of addressing challenges not only at the national but also at the global level.
