A solemn ceremony entitled “Step into the Future Together” was held at I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University.
The Chairman of the Board – Rector, Doctor of Law, Professor Yermek Buribayev, addressed students and their parents with a welcoming speech.
“Knowledge has always been the source of new ideas, discoveries, and achievements. Today marks your first step into a greater life. Studying at Zhetysu University means not only acquiring new knowledge but also finding new friends, new dreams, and new horizons. The future of our country, its worthy place among developed nations, undoubtedly lies in the hands of young people like you – eager for knowledge, talented, and determined. Already during your years of study here, you will be able to master advanced scientific achievements and grow into true professionals. I believe that by receiving a quality education in your chosen field, you will make a valuable contribution to the prosperity of our Motherland,” noted the Rector.
Any beginning gains special value when blessed by the elders. The first-year students received their blessing from Dusen Ansabayev, a veteran of pedagogical service and Associate Professor.
The ceremony concluded with a festive concert program.
