On September 12, 2025, 10th-grade pupils from Enbekshikazakh Secondary school of Koksu District visited Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, particularly the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty of Humanities, where they took part in a career guidance event. During the visit, the pupils received detailed information about the university’s educational process, the specifics of various academic programs, and future career opportunities. The university’s professors and pupils held an open discussion with the schoolchildren and answered their questions.
The main goal of the career guidance event was to help pupils make a conscious choice of their future profession, identify their interests, and prepare them for adaptation to the modern labor market. Such meetings help young people make informed career decisions, discover their potential, and develop an interest in higher education. At the end of the event, the pupils toured the university’s classrooms and laboratories and learned more about student life at the university.
