Since 2023, Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov has joined the global educational project Coursera, providing students with access to the world’s leading online courses. To date, about 3,000 students have successfully completed various courses, gaining new knowledge and skills.
The results of learning have already shown tangible results – successful student startup initiatives have emerged. Among them are projects in the field of digital communications within the university (ZU Connect), the agro-industrial sector (OSIM Agro), as well as a startup in sustainable tourism (GIDMK). These initiatives have been recognized at the national level as successful examples of applying acquired knowledge in practice.
