On September 26, 2025, elections were held for the composition of the Academic Council of NJSC «Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov». In accordance with Clause 7 of the «Model Rules for Organizing the Work of Collegial Governing Bodies of Higher and/or Postgraduate Education Institutions», the composition of the Academic Council was elected by a specially established commission. Based on the results of the election, a new composition was approved, consisting of representatives contributing to the academic, research, social-educational activities, and strategic development of the university.
