In order to promote the development of science and technology in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as to integrate Kazakhstan into the global scientific and technological space, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov launched the “Artificial Intelligence Week.”
As part of this event, the official opening of the “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation Week” was held at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. Following the opening ceremony, a seminar on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Education” was organized. Students, undergraduates, and faculty members took part in the seminar.
During the seminar, lecturers from the Department of Informatics and Digitalization of Education, A. Yeseykyzy and G. Kasteeva, delivered presentations highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in the education sector. At the end of the event, a lively debate was held on the topic “Can artificial intelligence replace humans?”
The opening of the week was also attended by lecturers from other university faculties, which gave the event special significance.
