At the World Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Championship, held from September 27 to October 2, 2025, in Tbilisi, Georgia, Ainur Medetova, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, competed in the 65.8 kg weight category and won a bronze medal.
