A meeting with young people on the topic “A Secular State and a Spiritually Conscious Generation” was held at I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University.
The event brought together students and staff of the university, invited guests, and representatives of the media.
The meeting was moderated by Acting Chairman of the Board – Rector Bauyrzhan Taubaev, who, in his welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of spiritual values in the upbringing and development of youth.
The Supreme Mufti, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, Nauryzbai Haji Taganuly, noted that the religious literacy of young people serves as the foundation of their spiritual growth, tolerance, and commitment to national values.
“When spiritual and moral values take root in the hearts of young people, they become not only educated, but also socially responsible individuals who care deeply about the future of their country,” emphasized the Supreme Mufti.
The Head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Zhetysu Region, Sagynysh Zhanabai, shared insights into the current religious situation in the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, students asked their questions and received detailed answers from the experts.
