As part of the Year of Working Professions, Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov held the hackathon ZU Professions Fest 2025 “Try a Profession – Choose Your Future!”
The event brought together expert employers, faculty members, students, and high school students from the region. Guests were welcomed by an exhibition of achievements by young scientists of Zhetysu University, featuring innovative projects, scientific startups, and technological solutions.
Participants were fully immersed in an atmosphere of professional creativity and innovation. Interactive competitions using augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies, as well as robotics, sparked particular interest.
The hackathon became a platform for dynamic communication, teamwork, and informed career choice, uniting science, technology, and the intellectual potential of youth on one stage.
