





As part of the implementation of the “Law and Order” ideology, an open court hearing on a case involving property damage was held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov under the chairmanship of Shyngys Dikanbai, judge of the Taldykorgan City Court.
The event was attended by students of the Law and International Law academic programs of Zhetysu University.
Judge Shyngys Dikanbai, who presided over the hearing, emphasized: “The main purpose of today’s open trial is to demonstrate the importance of the rule of law and legal order in our country, to cultivate students’ legal culture, acquaint young people with the functioning of the judicial system, and explain the role of fair justice in society.”
The judge outlined the stages of the judicial process, explained the specifics of decision-making, and answered students’ questions. Using real case examples, he highlighted the importance of practical experience in the legal profession.
During the court session, students became familiar with procedural rules, the techniques used by prosecutors and defense attorneys to present arguments, courtroom communication standards, as well as strategies for clarifying questions and responses.
Future lawyers gained an understanding of the practical significance of their future profession and recognized that ensuring justice and the rule of law in society is the civic duty of every specialist.
The event was held within the framework of the “Law and Order” ideology outlined in President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State of the Nation Address, “Fair Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism.”
