On 11 November 2025, an open practical class on the topic “Mass Media, Technologies and Society” was held for group SHTq-111 at Zhetysu University. The session took place from 13:25 to 14:10 and was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the updated educational system. During the lesson, students worked in groups, and innovative teaching methods based on STEM and CLIL approaches were applied, including quiz activities, LearningApps, Kahoot, and Nearpod digital tools.
The open class was delivered by PhD B.T. Kaliyeva, lecturer of the Department of History and Social-Humanitarian Disciplines. The session was conducted in three languages, Kazakh, Russian and English, providing a multilingual learning environment and enhancing students’ subject competencies.
