On November 18–19, 2025, the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov held an Open Day for graduating students of general education institutions. The event took place in the Main Academic Building and Academic Building No. 2 of the university. More than 350 students participated in the event.
The meeting was organized to provide applicants with comprehensive information about the university and to help them make the right career choice. During the Open Day, participants became widely acquainted with the university’s system. They observed the work of structural departments and learned about the activities of the faculties. Scientific laboratories, the Courtroom, the Forensics Room, the Huawei room, Enactus, the library and museum, the gym, the boxing hall, the military department, the university swimming pool, specialized study rooms, the new academic building, and the STEM lab laboratories were presented.
Participants of the event met with the university’s lecturers and staff, asking questions related to education and admission. They also had open conversations with active students about student life. Overall, participating in the Open Day allowed school students to get closely acquainted with the university and form a new perspective. This gives young people the opportunity to become students of Zhetysu University and join the ranks of the best.
