Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted the second stage of the traditional nationwide contest «ХХІ ғасырдағы Алаштың Ақ жолы», organized by the Ak Zhol party. 42 contestants took part in it, selected from 420 applicants of the first stage. The main purpose of the contest is to comprehend and popularize the political experience, economic program and spiritual heritage of the Alash movement in the context of modernizing modern Kazakh society.
The competition was held in 4 directions: The socio-political idea of «Alash» and its continuity in modern Kazakhstan; The spiritual and educational activities of the «Alash» movement and its significance for modern Kazakh society, the economic views of the leaders of the «Alash» movement and the development of entrepreneurship; Unknown pages of the history of «Alash».
The senior manager of the Office of Scientific Projects and Technology Commercialization, a 2nd-year doctoral student of the Kazakh language and Literature program, A. Altai, took part in the competition with a scientific report on the topic «The Alash political system and its conceptual links with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan». Following the results of the second stage, our employee was among the best and received a ticket to the final of the competition.
