














At Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, an extended meeting was held within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept with the participation of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Zhetysu region, the Prosecutor’s Office of Zhetysu region, and the university community.
The event was attended by university staff, faculty members, and students.
The meeting was opened by Bolat Seriyev, Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, who emphasized that the event is aimed at enhancing legal culture in society.
Head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs for Zhetysu region and Chair of the Ethics Council, Manap Kobylan, delivered a report on strengthening legal culture within the “Law and Order” concept, the risks of gambling addiction, corruption prevention, and adherence to ethical standards in public service. In addition, Manap Kobylan highlighted the importance of transparency and integrity in the public service system and provided students with information about procedures and opportunities for entering public service.
Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics, Galym Teleuyev, presented a special report on the prevention of legal violations, addressing issues that young people most commonly encounter. In his presentation, he explained new forms of fraud and ways to protect oneself from them, as well as the social and legal consequences of gambling addiction, supported by concrete factors and statistical data.
At the end of the event, participants asked questions to the speakers and exchanged views.
