Today, a meeting was held at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov with Nurzhan Mukhamedszhanova, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, journalist, and media manager.
The event was attended by prominent journalist and producer Nartai Otegen, Head of the Press Service of the Akim of Zhetysu Region Aigerim Agyltaeva, Head of the Regional Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation Kuanysh Suleimenov, as well as media representatives and students.
Sharing the experience she has gained over many years of professional work, Nurzhan Mukhamedszhanova spoke to students about the development trends of domestic media, the workflow in television production, and the professional responsibility of a journalist.
During the meeting, the speaker also touched upon the opportunities of digital journalism and the impact of media on society. In her remarks, she emphasized: “The primary tool that shapes national ideology in the public consciousness is the press. In an era of uninterrupted information flow, it is crucial to obtain reliable data and to be able to filter information.”
Future journalists studying at Zhetysu University received valuable professional advice from an experienced practitioner and gained deeper insight into the specifics of the mass media sphere.
At the end of the meeting, students asked questions of interest and exchanged opinions.
