







At Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, the traditional Winter School of Pedagogical Excellence will be held on January 8–9, 2026, with the aim of comprehensively reviewing contemporary achievements in pedagogical mastery, enhancing the professional competence of the university’s faculty, and promoting the exchange of best practices. In the current academic year, the Winter School is dedicated to the theme “Artificial Intelligence: Current State, Development Trends, and Prospects”.
On January 8, 2026, within the framework of the Winter School, a plenary session entitled “Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Transforming the Educational Process” was held. The session was attended by B.A.Baimamyrov, Deputy Head of the Center for Digital Development and Information Technologies of the A.K.Kusainov Eurasian Humanities Institute (Astana); Z.A.Zhylkishbayeva, doctoral student of the educational program 8D01502 “Informatics” at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University (Almaty); Sh.B.Nurgozhayev, Director of the Taldykorgan Higher Polytechnic College, and B.B.Satkulov, Deputy Director of the same institution. The speakers shared their professional experience and practical insights.
Representing Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, E.Zh. Zhailau, Acting Head of the Department of Digitalization and Process Automation, delivered a presentation on a testing program designed to support the organization of interim assessment. Following the plenary session, the speakers were awarded Letters of Appreciation on behalf of the Chairman of the Board – Rector, Yе. Buribayev.
In order to ensure broad audience outreach, the Winter School events were broadcast live via the ZOOM platform and the YouTube video hosting service.
