At Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, an orientation conference was held to assign students to industrial (professional) practice within the educational programs 6B03201 – “Journalism” and 6B03202 – “Public Relations.”
The first large-scale event of the 2025–2026 academic year was organized in Room No. 126. During the meeting, 3rd- and 4th-year students were informed about the goals and objectives of the industrial practice, the procedure for completing it, and the main requirements. In addition, the tasks to be completed during the practice period, the content of reporting documents, and the requirements for their оформление were explained in detail.
Lecturers of the Department of Journalism emphasized the importance of improving students’ professional training, consolidating theoretical knowledge through practical experience, and developing practical skills necessary for future professional activities. Attention was also drawn to the need to observe labor discipline and to perform assigned duties responsibly and with high quality during the practice.
It should be noted that students will complete their practice and enhance their journalistic skills at the “Zhetysu” TV channel, the regional newspapers “Zhetysu” and “Vestnik Zhetysu,” the national newspaper “Alatau,” the Inclusive Information Portal, the Zhetysu Regional Drama Theater named after B. Rimova, the Regional Department of Public Development, the municipal institution “Jetisu jastary,” as well as the Zhetysu Regional Center for Folk Art.
