On January 16, 2026, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, together with the Department of Scientometrics and Research Personnel Training and the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, held an internal university seminar on «Adding Content in Kazakh to the Open Online Encyclopedia (Wikipedia)».
Kazakh language and literature teacher at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, Kambarova Kuralay Sydykbekovna, along with students Shamshi Ayan and Bolatkhan Akberen, shared their practical experience in writing, editing, and citing articles on the Wikipedia platform, illustrating their points with concrete examples. During the discussion, proposals and analytical remarks were presented, aimed at improving content quality, strengthening authorial responsibility, ensuring information reliability, and upholding the principles of academic integrity.
