On January 19–20, 2026, two seminars for senior educators were held at the Center for competencies and complementary education as part of the “Asyl Qazyna University” project. The main goal of these events was to promote health, active longevity, and overall well-being among people of the older age group.
Seminar: “How to Train Memory and Attention After 50”
During the seminar, participants explored modern approaches to maintaining and developing cognitive abilities and received practical recommendations on exercises designed to improve memory and concentration.
– “We realized that age is not a barrier to personal growth. Even simple exercises help keep the mind clear and energetic,” shared one of the participants.
Seminar: “Pre-Medical First Aid in Emergency Situations”
Educators learned essential first aid skills to be applied before medical professionals arrive and practiced clear action algorithms for cardiovascular emergencies and injuries.
– “Now we feel much more confident. The knowledge we gained here can truly save a life,” noted one of the attendees.
The “Asyl Qazyna University” project is aimed at supporting educators aged 50+, enhancing their professional and personal competencies, strengthening their health, and improving their quality of life. The seminars clearly demonstrated how practical knowledge and hands-on experience help teachers remain active, confident, and in demand within society.
The seminars were conducted by Gulmira Bazarkhanovna Galiyeva, Candidate of Medical Sciences, lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture and Initial Military Training.
