On January 29, 2026, a round table discussion entitled “The Modern Educational Environment: New Requirements and Competencies for Professional Fields” was held at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, organized by the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.
The purpose of the event was to discuss changes in the modern educational environment, identify new requirements imposed by the labor market and professional fields, and strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and employers.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) E. Khaimuldаnov, the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) B. Almukhambetova, the Head of the Department of Teaching and Educational Methodologies, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) A. Abukhanova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Chief Manager of the Academic and Methodological Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education R. Assylova, as well as faculty members involved in the development of educational programs and employers.
During the event, topical issues were discussed, and specific opinions and proposals aimed at the development of the education sector were voiced. It is expected that such cooperation will continue in the future. The meeting contributed to strengthening the relationship between the education system and the labor market.
