On February 2, 2026, the Department of Science and Commercialization of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov held a seminar aimed at improving the quality of grant funding applications.
The seminar was attended by scientists and researchers participating in the grant funding competition of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the seminar, the Member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalization, A. Bakhtaulova, focused on the key aspects of preparing project proposals, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the quality and relevance of ongoing scientific research and project activities.
In the main part of the seminar, the Director of the Department of Science and Commercialization, L. Karasholakova, explained issues related to compliance with the requirements of the конкурс documentation, the systematization of application content in the NCSTE system, the reflection of the technology readiness level (TRL), as well as the correct presentation of expected results. In addition, errors identified in each project proposal were analyzed in detail, and explanations were provided on ways to eliminate them. During the discussion, participants asked questions of interest and received comprehensive answers
