Students of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov took part online in an administrative court hearing held at the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Administrative Offenses of Taldykorgan, within the framework of the “Law and Order” principle.
The main objective of the open court session was to promote respect for legal order and the rule of law among students, to foster legal awareness and culture, as well as to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience for students of the Faculty of Law and Economics.
During the hearing, a case was examined under Part 1 of Article 608 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses, concerning the operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Approximately 5,000 students and faculty members from all faculties of the university participated in the court session in an online format.
This court proceeding enabled students to become familiar with the procedure for handling administrative cases and to better understand the dangers of driving under the influence, as well as the legal responsibility such actions entail.
