On February 6, 2026, within the walls of Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov, a curatorial hour was organized by the Assistant Teacher of the Department of Information Technologies and artificial intelligence B. Serikov on the topic “project of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. The event was attended by students of the group IS121 of the educational program “Information Systems”.
The main goals of the curatorial hour were defined as follows: improving legal literacy: explaining to students the main law of the state – changes to the Constitution and the importance of a new project. Formation of a civic position: awakening young people’s interest in political processes and educating them in a responsible attitude to decisions of State importance. An overview of the main changes in the draft of the new Constitution (protection of human rights, balance of branches of government, electoral system) was made. Students of the IS121 group asked questions and expressed their opinion on the impact of the new project on the field of digital technologies and information security. It was noted that the future direction of development of the country directly depends on the legal culture of young people.
At the end of the event, students received detailed information about the political and legal reforms of Kazakhstan. The participants understood the importance of the draft new Constitution in regulating public relations and building a just Kazakhstan. Among the students, a sense of respect for state symbols and the law was strengthened.
