On February 13, 2026, a round table discussion entitled “Continuity of Educational Content between General Education Schools and Higher Education Institutions” was held at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Arts of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
The purpose of the event was to analyze the interconnection between school and university educational content, enhance its effectiveness, and explore ways for further improvement.
The round table was attended by heads of educational institutions, school teachers, methodologists, and members of the university’s academic staff.
During the discussion, participants addressed the readiness of school graduates for higher education, the level of development of their basic skills in creative and physical education fields, the continuity of curricula, and current challenges in the educational process. The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between schools and universities, exchanging experience, and organizing joint activities.
As a result of the event, several proposals were developed aimed at improving educational programs, updating curriculum content, and enhancing students’ professional training.
