On February 19, 2026, within the framework of the project “academic mobility” within the walls of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, a seminar was organized for 1.2-year students of the Faculty of Physics and mathematics on internal and external mobility. The event was attended by full 1,2 course students and teachers.
The main purpose of the seminar is to familiarize students with academic mobility programs and expand their educational opportunities at the international level. In particular:
Explanation of the rules of Internal (between universities of Kazakhstan) and external (foreign partner universities) mobility programs. Training students to master foreign languages and become competitive specialists. Provide detailed guidance on the collection of documents, Application and grant programs (Erasmus+, bilateral agreements, etc.). Conditions for visiting foreign universities, the importance of language certificates (IELTS/TOEFL). The order of study for one semester in the leading universities of Kazakhstan. Application stages and the process of recognition (recalculation of credits). Answer the questions of students and teachers.
Students of 1-2 courses at an early age determine their academic orientation and begin their language training. Contributes to an increase in the performance (rating) of the University at the international level. The level of interest among students in participating in academic exchange programs increases.
