On February 20, 2026, an educational and methodological seminar titled “Fast Dombra Playing Technique – Numerical Method” was held at the Department of Creative Education of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Arts of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
The seminar was conducted by lecturer Kuntuganova S. M. During the event, students were introduced to a numerical (digital) method of fast and accurate dombra performance, including finger positioning techniques, a fret numbering system, and practical exercises aimed at improving performance skills.
The purpose of the seminar was to enhance students’ dombra performance level and to familiarize them with modern teaching methods.
