On February 18–20, 2026, the Republic of Kazakhstan U-20 Indoor Athletics Championship was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Students of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, Faculty of Physical Education and Arts, demonstrated excellent results and won prize places:

🥉 Nurakhan Karakat — 3rd place in the 2000 m steeplechase
