A meeting titled “My Contribution to Upholding Law and Order” was held with students of the Faculty of Humanities at Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov within the framework of the Head of State’s “Law and Order” principle. The purpose of the meeting was to provide guidance in shaping young people’s personal civic stance on combating offenses and maintaining public order.
Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy Bolat Seriev emphasized the importance of such meetings in fostering students’ legal culture and increasing their sense of responsibility for observing law and order.
During the event, Senior Operative Officer of the Cybercrime Prevention Unit of the Zhetysu Region Police Department, Police Major Yernat Abdrakhimov, delivered a detailed presentation on online fraud and crimes related to dropper schemes, illustrating his remarks with practical examples.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an interactive session was conducted with the students. Participants shared their views on situational questions presented in a card-based format. This approach made it possible to assess their level of legal literacy, ability to make sound decisions in various circumstances, and critical thinking skills.
Dean of the Faculty Raigul Zheldibayeva expressed her gratitude to the guests for the valuable and informative presentation, noting the significant role such meetings play in the education and civic development of young people.
