A final conference was held to summarize the results of the industrial internship of students from groups ЖҚ311 and ЖҚ312 of the “Journalism” educational program at the Department of Journalism. The internship, organized from January 12 to February 21, 2026, was successfully completed, and the students confidently defended the results of their work at a high level. During the internship, students gained experience at leading regional mass media outlets and cultural institutions. In particular, they completed their practical training at the Zhetysu Regional TV Channel, Zhetysu Radio, the socio-political newspaper “Alatau,” the B. Rimova Taldykorgan Drama Theatre, the publication “Vestnik Zhetysu,” the Zhetysu Regional Center of Folk Art, as well as the “Zhetysu Media” organization. Each student prepared at least five media materials, acquiring hands-on experience in television, radio, and print journalism, and actively engaging in professional activities. Moreover, several students received recommendation letters with job offers from the organizations where they completed their internships. This achievement clearly reflects the high professionalism of the department’s faculty and the responsibility and dedication of the students. The final conference was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, R. Zheldibayeva, a representative of the academic office, A. Koishymanova, as well as faculty members of the department. They gave high praise to the students’ work. During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the importance of industrial internships and the role of practical training in preparing future journalists.
