Today, an open lesson titled “Review and Short Story” was held for students of groups ZhQ 111 and ZhQ 112, organized by Ilesken Albatyrov, a lecturer of the Department of Journalism. The main goal of the lesson was to introduce students to the characteristics of analytical genres and explain the nuances of writing short stories and reviews. During the lesson, the structure of the short story genre, the harmony between theme and idea, and ways to present a storyline in a coherent manner were widely discussed. In addition, the requirements for writing a review, the importance of expressing a critical perspective on a work, and conducting analysis were emphasized. During the lecture, the lecturer read excerpts from the stories of senior writers and discussed their writing styles and artistic features. He also provided examples from his own works and explained to the students the importance of creative exploration. This allowed students to understand the methods and techniques of writing literary texts in practice. At the end of the lesson, students shared their thoughts and exchanged opinions on the topic. It was noted that such open classes help develop the creative abilities of young journalists and contribute to their professional development in the future.
