Organized by the Department of Journalism, a literary evening titled “Under One Roof” was held as part of the ten-day “Nauryznama” celebration dedicated to the Nauryz holiday. The opening of the evening began with a performance depicting three historical eras. The audience was presented with an impressive show conveying the national spirit, featuring the performance of traditional kui music, songs, and dances. During the event, the traditions of the Kazakh people were widely promoted. In particular, such national customs as the syrga salu (earring ceremony), tusau kesu (cutting of the binding strings), and asyk atu (traditional game with knucklebones) were staged, leaving a strong impression on the audience. The event was attended by Vice-Rector of Zhetysu University B. Seriev, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, and other guests, who expressed their gratitude to the organizers. The event was held at a high level and was well received by both participants and the audience.
