






































As part of the state program “AI Sana” and in support of the country’s digital transformation, a national student project competition titled “AI Sana – Digital Kazakhstan: Projects of the Future” was held at the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov.
Following the selection stage, 14 teams representing the country’s leading higher education institutions advanced to the final round.
The Chairman of the Board – Rector Yermek Buribayev expressed confidence that students’ initiatives in the field of artificial intelligence will evolve into successful startups and contribute to the nation’s development.
The competition was judged by representatives of the IT and business sectors, including A. Khamzinova, Head of the Department for the Implementation and Development of Information Technologies at the Zhetysu Regional Akimat; A. Ismail, Head of the Human Capital Development Department at the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Zhetysu Region; S. Kaliyev, representative of Kazakhtelecom; S. Chernyshev, Head of the IT Department at ASMA Industrial; and S. Osinskaya, Deputy Director of a branch of Eurasian Bank.
Based on criteria such as innovation and originality, practical relevance, technological sophistication, and presentation quality, first place (500,000 tenge) was awarded to the “IPT Group” team from the Taraz University named after M.Kh. Dulaty.
Second place (300,000 tenge) was shared by the “Zhetysu AI” team from the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov and the “NB-371” team from Yessenov University.
Third place (100,000 tenge) was awarded to the teams “QalqanAI” from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, “SERPIN” from Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, and “AI-OSINT” from Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages.
In addition, all participating teams received awards in various nomination categories.
