From March 27 to 29, 2026, the Winter Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in race walking (road) and long-distance running was held in Almaty.
At this prestigious competition, students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov achieved excellent results and won prize places:
Aiyana Bolatbekkyzy — 1st place in the 10 km race 🥇
Dagara Tumarbekova — 3rd place in the 5 km race 🥉
