At Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, a meeting with forensic experts was organized for 3rd-year students of the “Kazakh Language and Literature” and “Philology” educational programs. The event was initiated by Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature of the Faculty of Humanities, Candidate of Philological Sciences Aizhan Sakhankyzy Shynybekova, with the aim of improving educational programs and developing students’ professional competencies. The event was attended by experienced specialists from the Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Zhetysu region: Acting Deputy for forensic expert activities Galina Valeryevna Sabitova, Senior Expert Raushangul Yerkenovna Amandosova, and Chief HR Inspector Gulmira Sailaubayevna Sadykova, who shared their professional experience. During the meeting, the experts provided detailed information about the main areas of forensic examination, the procedures for conducting examinations, current issues, and modern innovations in the field. They also discussed employment opportunities for graduates of philology programs in the field of forensic expertise and, as employers, invited students to apply for the position of “forensic psychological and philological expert”. Students received clear answers to their questions, supported by practical examples. This contributed to combining theoretical knowledge with practice, helped clarify their career orientation, and had a positive impact on their development as future professionals. This event strengthens the connection between the university and employers and helps align the content of educational programs with labor market requirements.
