On April 9, 2026, within the framework of the Decade of Science, the ceremonial opening of the Linguodidactic Laboratory named after linguist scholar K. Sarbasova took place. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, Doctor of Law, Professor Ermek Buribayev, who delivered a welcoming address. In his speech, the Rector emphasized that the newly established laboratory holds particular importance for the training of future philology specialists, enhancing the quality of language education, and introducing modern linguodidactic technologies into the educational process.
The ceremonial event brought together leading scholars from national higher education institutions, experts in linguistics, representatives of the academic community, faculty members of the university, school teachers, and students. During the event, the significant contribution of K. Sarbasova to the development of science and education was highlighted, and the importance of preserving and continuing her scientific legacy was emphasized. The material and technical equipment of the laboratory was provided with the sponsorship support of the family of scholar-educator K. Sarbasova, serving as a notable example of civic responsibility and support for the advancement of science and education.
