Teacher – lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation, Faculty of Humanities, Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov, Turabay Guldana Keliskyzy conducted an Demo Lesson of the discipline of “English A2” in a modern format “Space Tourism” 12.09.2024 with the group FLK 112 (ІР).
The Demo Lesson was held in the format of a modern competition. During the Demo Lesson various innovative methods and techniques were used. When performing an online game using the Gamification method, learners have a desire to master a foreign language. With the Flipped class method the learner learns a new topic at a high level.
Guldana Keliskyzy researches the formation of intercultural-communicative competence of future foreign language teachers in teaching English.
With the help of Project work method future teachers of foreign language presented prototypes of rockets of future production in the Republic of Kazakhstan at the competition “Made in Kazakhstan” with a review of the history of Kazakh and American astronauts in English. The judges were teachers-lectures of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies. The owners of the best prototypes that have all the criteria took the prizes.
