«Zhansugurov college» of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov
The innovative «Zhansugurov College» was opened in November 2018 as a structural unit of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov in Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region.
From 2018 to 2023, the director of the college was doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Maltekbasov Marat Zhabykbaevich. Since October 2023, Eskendirov Bakitzhan Nurserikovich has been appointed to the position of director.
In our college, which graduated its first graduates in 2021, 10 specialties implement educational activities on the basis of basic (9th grade) and secondary (11th grade) education in 16 qualification programs of technical and vocational education. In 2022, there were a total of 140 students, of whom 75 students received education on the basis of a state order, in 2023 291 students, including 118 students received education on the basis of a state order.
The material and technical base and digital infrastructure of the educational institution have been systematically established. The educational and laboratory facility of the college in the required quantity. Multimedia classrooms, monoblock classrooms, computer and tutor classes are equipped with modern technical training facilities.
Conditions have been created for high-quality education of students in specialized classrooms and virtual laboratories, training grounds, gyms, and art studios.
At the college the electronic library, the book fund of which belongs to a digital supplier, provides continuous student service and students have the opportunity to use the media libraries and libraries of the university departments in the educational process.
Currently, the educational process of the college has been organized using the «Smart Zhetysu» platform: a training schedule, an educational and methodological complex, an electronic library, personal offices of a teacher and a student, an electronic journal.
At present, 55 teachers work in the teaching staff, including 48 full-time, 7 part-time. The qualitative staff of the college’s teaching staff consists of 1 candidate of pedagogical sciences, 3 teacher-researchers, 2 teacher-experts, 14 teacher – moderators, 17 masters of science degrees.
The WorldSkills Championship of professional skills, full of search and creativity, is one of the priorities of the college’s development. Our college is the first center in the Almaty region to organize the «Worldskills Kazakhstan 2020» regional championship in 3 competencies. Currently, continues to organize the Zhetysu Region championship, and also conducts thorough training of winning students. In particular, at the VII National Championship of professional skills «WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2022» in the competence «Preschool education and training» Nurdaulet Ayaulym took the II place and won a silver medal, and in the competence «Education in junior classes» Mukhtarbekkyzy Elnur became the owner of the medallion «The best specialist».
At the VIII National Championship of professional skills «WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2023» in the competence “Education in junior classes” Kablanbek Meruert became the owner of the medallion “The best specialist”. At the IX National Championship of professional skills «WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2024» in the competence “Education in junior classes ” Kablanbek Meruert took the II place and won a silver medal.
The staff with special enthusiasm, setting all its strengths and creative ideals before itself, honing students at various competitions, constantly participates in professional competitions at the city, regional, republican, and international levels. In the competition “The Best teacher” in 2022, the teacher of the kazakh language and literature Suleimenova A. was recognized as the “best” at the republican level, and in 2024 Makeeva K. was recognized as the “best” at the regional level.
