As part of the academic mobility program, Professor of the Institute of Mining Biology of the University of Zilin (Slovak Republic), Candidate of Biological Sciences Marian Janiga, who conducts lectures for students, arrived at the Department of Natural Sciences of Zhetysu University.
This visit is aimed at strengthening the international relations of the department, improving the professional qualifications of students, as well as expanding research activities.
The main purpose of the professor’s visit is to share scientific experience in studying the mountain ecosystems of the Zhetysu Alatau, as well as to establish cooperation in the field of research on biological diversity and the influence of climatic factors. His lectures are closely related to an important scientific project that is currently being implemented at Zhetysu University.
This visit promotes a scientific exchange with a foreign specialist, the acquisition of practical skills, as well as the development of research competencies of undergraduates and doctoral students.
Zhetysu University actively develops international cooperation and purposefully works to improve the quality of education and science.
