On November 19 of the current year, an open class on the topic “Etymology of the Kazakh Language” was held within the course “Kazakh Language Lexicology and Teaching Foundations”, with the participation of Group 211 of the Humanities Faculty, majoring in “Kazakh Language and Literature.” The lesson was expertly organized by Aizhan Sakhanovna Shynybekova, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor, who created a meaningful and intellectually rich educational environment that guided students toward deeper linguistic understanding. Throughout the session, a wide range of tools was effectively employed to enhance students’ cognitive engagement and creative potential, including artificial intelligence technologies, digital learning tools, group collaboration, and research-based activities. The assignments completed during the lesson contributed significantly to improving students’ academic performance, broadening their intellectual horizons, and developing advanced linguistic competencies. Each group conducted an in-depth analysis of scientific and folk etymology, examined the origins of words, and explored core etymological principles, presenting their findings coherently, persuasively, and with academic precision. The lesson was further enriched through interactive teaching methods and modern visual resources, making the educational process dynamic, content-rich, and memorable. At the conclusion of the class, feedback was collected from invited instructors through AI-enabled digital tools, allowing guests to share their thoughtful impressions, valuable recommendations, and professional insights. Their warm reflections and support for linguistic and cultural initiatives added a special resonance to the overall learning atmosphere. In this way, the open class fully met professional and methodological standards, strengthened students’ interest in the subject, and made a significant contribution to deepening their linguistic knowledge, enhancing their language culture, and fostering their intellectual growth.
