











On February 10, 2026, the Rector of Zhetysu University met with students who will study abroad under the outbound academic mobility program. The meeting brought together students, faculty members, and department heads from the Departments of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies, Kazakh Language and Literature, Psychology and Pedagogy, Journalism, and Natural Sciences.
During the spring semester of this academic year, Zhetysu University’s partner institutions in Turkey – Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University and Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University will host 9 undergraduate students for one academic semester. Among them, a second-year Psychology student has received full funding through the Erasmus+ (KA) program.
During the meeting, Rector Yermek Buribayev spoke with students about the importance of studying at international universities and its role in shaping a global and intercultural perspective. He wished the participants a successful and meaningful academic experience abroad.
Representatives of the University Registration Office and the Center for International Cooperation addressed key issues related to academic mobility and provided students with essential guidance and instructions. In addition, students who had previously studied abroad under this program shared their experiences and insights.
