






Teachers and researchers from schools in the region took part in the work: O.A. Bogoslovskaya (Secondary School No. 5, Koksuy District), E.R. Filimonova (Secondary School No. 12, Taldykorgan), N.Ya. Kim (Aldabergenov Secondary School, Koks District), N.S. Maksimenko (Abay Secondary School No. 1, Sarkand), S.A. Denisova (Secondary School No. 1, Taldykorgan), A.M. Dzhumagulova (Secondary School No. 2, Koks District), A.Zh. Zhantleuova (School No. 24, Taldykorgan), Torpakova A.A. (specialist at the regional methodological center), as well as faculty members of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Zhansugurov University: Esimkulov B.N., Li E.V., Seralieva N.Zh., Rysdauletova B.T.
During the round table discussion, the following issues were discussed: the content of standard Russian language and literature programs for grades 2-4, 5-9, and 10-11 and their compliance with the content of the department’s educational programs, as well as the preparedness of students for teaching practice.
Teachers were asked to focus on developing practical skills for using theoretical knowledge of philological disciplines in school, to include in the educational program disciplines on criterion-based assessment of schoolchildren’s knowledge, on compiling teaching plans, comprehensive analysis of literary texts, and all types of grammatical analysis.
As a result of the discussion, the roundtable participants summarized the following: to intensify cooperation in the context of educational and methodological activities, to provide scientific support for teachers’ methodological literature, and to organize master classes at the university.
