Information on the accessibility of visiting and receiving services for persons with disabilities
Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University provides conditions for the accessibility of educational services and infrastructure for persons with disabilities and impairments in accordance with the principles of inclusive education and equal access to education.
1. Accessibility of facilities and infrastructure
• Access to educational buildings and administrative buildings is provided;
• Ramps and entrance groups are provided to ensure unhindered access;
• Sanitary and hygienic facilities are equipped to meet the needs of persons with disabilities;
• Navigation and ease of movement around the university are provided.
2. Availability of educational services
The University implements educational programs of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies and provides the possibility of training students with special educational needs.
For students with disabilities are provided:
• adaptation of the educational process and educational materials;
• individual educational trajectories;
• the use of distance educational technologies;
• access to an electronic library and educational portal;
• consulting support of teachers and specialists.
3. Psychological, pedagogical, and social support
• Students are provided with social and consulting support;
• Assistance is provided in adapting to the educational environment;
• If necessary, support and assistance are provided during the learning process.
4. Availability of information
The official website of the university contains information about:
• the conditions of study and the availability of infrastructure;
• the services provided and support for students with disabilities;
• the contact details of the responsible departments;
• the possibilities of distance learning and electronic resources.

Persons with disabilities can receive advice on admission, study and accessibility conditions through the structural units of the university and the Center for Student Services.
