











Today, a book corner was officially opened at the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov as part of the “Law and Order” principle. This initiative aims to foster legal culture among young people and contribute to their spiritual development through reading.
The event was attended by the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akerke Ablaikhan; the Deputy Head of the Public Security Department of the Police Department of the Zhetysu Region, Police Colonel Aida Belgibaeva; the Deputy Head of the Police Department of Taldykorgan, Police Lieutenant Colonel Galym Myrzakhanov; as well as the Senior Operative Officer for Particularly Important Cases of the Department of Economic Investigations for the Zhetysu Region of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant Colonel of the Economic Investigation Service Alibek Izbasarov.
During the event, the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the university Yermek Buribayev encouraged young people to strive for personal development and to cultivate a habit of reading.
The newly opened book corner features legal textbooks and codes, works of fiction that contribute to the spiritual growth of young readers, as well as memoirs of prominent historical figures.
Among the works presented are those of the great thinker of Kazakh literature Abai Qunanbaiuly, books by the distinguished statesman and public figure Dinmukhamed Kunaev, the classic detective writer Kemel Tokayev, as well as publications by the academician Salyk Zimanov and Sultan Sartayev.
