At the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, an international conference was held on the topic “Issues of Audiovisual Journalism, Development Strategies, and Harmonization of Standards.” The event brought together researchers, journalists, and experts from various countries. Scholars from several higher education institutions in Kazakhstan also actively participated in the conference and delivered presentations.
Representing I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, the Head of the Department of Journalism, PhD Dr. B.Zh. Karimova, took part in the conference and delivered an informative report. As part of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the universities. In the future, within the framework of the academic mobility program, faculty members and students will have the opportunity to exchange experience.
