At the initiative of Ilesken Albatyruly, Lecturer of the Department of Journalism, students of group ҚБҚ-211 held a scientific seminar on the topic “Mechanisms of Using Artificial Intelligence in Journalism.”
During the event, the students comprehensively examined the role of artificial intelligence in the fields of PR and journalism, delivering an informative presentation on modern approaches to video content production and content management methods. In addition, they introduced various template types used in text content creation and analyzed their strengths and weaknesses.
The scientific seminar emphasized that the rapid development of artificial intelligence is contributing to the emergence of new digital tools and software. It was noted that these technologies enable journalists to quickly gather information, process it efficiently, analyze data, prepare news materials, and detect false information. It was also highlighted that in the PR sphere, artificial intelligence is widely used to study audiences, identify their interests, and manage reputation.
By thoroughly exploring the possibilities and limitations of artificial intelligence, the students presented the audience with relevant and meaningful information. The materials presented during the scientific seminar highlighted the significance of the topic and demonstrated the students’ professional insight as well as their proficiency in modern media tools.
Such meaningful events contribute to the development of students’ creative inquiry and the enhancement of their professional orientation.
