AP25793809 Study on the Dynamic Changes of Natural Microbial Composition of Mare's Milk at Different Low Temperatures and its Relationship with Physicochemical Properties
About the scientific project
- Project name:
Artificial intelligence as an assistant in acquiring academic English by non-language major students: Randomized study.
- The purpose of the project:
This research project aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of advanced generative AI resources of a new generation for the development of academic English by students of non-language specialties for further implementation in educational programs of higher professional education.
- Objectives:
1.Substantiate the theoretical basis for using AI in academic English teaching.
2.Identify effective AI tools to support academic English acquisition.
3.Conduct preliminary testing to evaluate the functionality and effectiveness of selected platforms.
4.Perform a pre-experimental assessment of key characteristics.
5.Conduct a pedagogical experiment on the impact of AI tools in academic English teaching.
6.Perform a post-experimental assessment of the studied characteristics.
7.Analyze the data using statistical methods to determine the effectiveness of the experiment.
8.Present findings and propose an AI integration model to university administrations, teachers, and educational authorities for broader implementation.
9.Organize teacher training sessions on AI integration in teaching practices.
10.Collaborate with curriculum developers to integrate AI tools into academic programs and align them with educational objectives.
11.Process and publish the results in international peer-reviewed journals.
- The idea of the project:
The core idea of this project is to identify effective tools to enhance the academic English skills of non-linguistic students, enabling them to overcome language barriers and boost their competitiveness in the global academic arena. The study will also assess measurable outcomes to facilitate the integration of these tools into academic curricula.
- Expected results:
The forms of implementation of the project result will be:
- Publication in foreign and domestic peer-reviewed scientific journals: The research results conducted within the project will be published:
- publication of 2 (two) articles in a scientific journal indexed in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index or Social Sciences Citation Index of the Web of Science database, or having a percentile of at least 35 in the CiteScore database of Scopus.
- publication of at least two articles and/or reviews in peer-reviewed foreign and/or domestic publications recommended by the SHEQAC.
- Publication of monographs, books, and/or chapters in books by foreign and/or Kazakh publishers:
- publication of a monograph with a contribution from a postdoctoral researcher of at least six publication sheets, which has been peer-reviewed and recommended for publication by at least two holders of the academic title of professor and/or doctoral degree.
- Obtaining patents in foreign patent offices (European, American, Japanese) is not planned; however, obtaining patents in the Kazakh or Eurasian patent office is also not planned.
- Development of scientific and technical design documentation is not planned.
- Dissemination of project results, training programs among potential users, the scientific community, and the general public is planned upon completion of the project, including on the international research platform CGScholar.
- Other measurable results in accordance with the requirements of the competition documentation and the specifics of the project. Additionally, details will be provided in the section.
As a result of the project implementation, there will be:
– based on the conducted experiment, a carefully selected set of artificial intelligence tools will be offered, pre-evaluated for their effectiveness in improving the academic English language skills of students of non-linguistic specialties, and a clear justification for their choice based on the effectiveness of use and functionality will be given.
– based on the results of the study, a proposed structure (model) for the integration of artificial intelligence tools will be developed, supplemented by practical recommendations for university administrations, teachers and educational management structures.
– seminars will be organized with the participation of Liam Magee, a foreign consultant, who will help English teachers acquire the necessary skills to effectively use artificial intelligence tools in their teaching activities.
– joint efforts with curriculum developers will ensure smooth integration of artificial intelligence tools into existing curricula in accordance with educational goals and standards.
1) the applicability of scientific results. The results obtained can be used in the scientific literature on language learning, educational technologies and AI in education. The target consumers of the results obtained are the fields of education, applied linguistics
and educational technologies.
2) the impact of expected results on the development of the main scientific field and related fields of science and technology: the project will contribute to understanding the role of artificial intelligence in language acquisition by providing empirical evidence of effective methods of using artificial intelligence tools in teaching academic English. Related fields: The findings may affect areas such as educational psychology, cognitive science, and computer language learning (CALL).
3) applicability and (or) the possibility of commercialization of the scientific results obtained: commercialization potential: there is significant potential for commercialization, including: the development of applications designed for academic English language learning.
Seminars and trainings: Offering advanced training programs for teachers.
4) social, economic, environmental, scientific and technical, multiplicative and (or) other effects of the project results with justification: the social effect is due to the fact that improving academic English proficiency by students of non-linguistic specialties can increase their chances of employment, contributing to social justice in employment; scientific and technical effect is due to the fact that the project It will contribute to the accumulation of knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence and education, contributing to further innovation and cooperation in scientific communities.
5) the dissemination of the results of the work among potential users, the wide dissemination of publications determines the community of scientists and the general public, the implementation of scientific reports. Improve the text.
