- The purpose of the project:
The aim of the project is to develop and implement methods for training mathematics teachers using the Wolfram Alpha neural network. It aims to improve the quality of education through digital technologies, the development of digital literacy and skills in working with modern tools.
- Objectives:
– Systematization of existing research on the impact of neural networks and the WolframAlpha tool on the professional training of mathematics teachers.
The indicators for solving this problem will be a literature review and methodological analysis, as well as the definition of measurement methods for evaluating the effectiveness of training and the development of professional competencies.
– Development of an educational course and platform using neural networks and the Wolfram Alpha tool:
The indicators of solving this problem will be the creation of an educational course integrated into the learning process using neural networks and the Wolfram Alpha tool, as well as the development of an educational platform that provides an interactive environment for improving professional skills among students.
– Conducting experimental research using an educational platform based on neural networks and the Wolfram Alpha tool
The indicators for solving this problem will be the measurement of the level of professional competencies using standardized techniques, data analysis and interpretation of results, as well as assessment of students’ perception.
– Development of recommendations and methodological approaches for integrating the neural network-based educational platform and the WolframAlpha tool into the learning process.
Indicators of solving this problem will be the development of methodological approaches for implementing the platform in educational programs, analyzing the prospects for integrating an educational platform based on neural networks and the WolframAlpha tool into the educational system of Kazakhstan, identifying obstacles and proposing strategies to overcome them.
– Conducting events to validate research results and demonstrate an educational platform based on neural networks and the Wolfram Alpha tool.
The indicators for solving this problem will be the collection of feedback from educational institutions and experts for further refinement and potential scaling of the platform based on neural networks and the Wolfram Alpha tool.
- The idea of the project:
The idea of the proposed project is a continuation of the completed doctoral thesis of the applicant, dedicated to the topic “Scientific and methodological basis for the use of Case technology in the formation of information competence of mathematics teachers.” The project is based on the results of research conducted within the framework of the doctoral thesis. A distinctive feature of the project is that it integrates the results of previous research with new approaches based on the use of the WolframAlpha neural network to improve the professional training of mathematics teachers. This will not only deepen the theoretical understanding of the problem, but also offer practical tools to improve the educational process. The project aims to create an innovative educational platform that will contribute to the development of analytical and critical skills among future teachers. This approach provides a comprehensive solution to the problem of insufficient teacher training for the use of modern educational technologies, which, in turn, will help improve the quality of mathematics teaching in educational institutions in Kazakhstan.
- Expected results:
Based on the research results, the project plans to:
1) 2 (two) scientific articles will be published in a peer-reviewed foreign scientific publication included in the Web of Science database and/or included in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index database, and/or having a CiteScore percentile in the Scopus database of at least 35 (thirty-five)
2) 1 (one) electronic educational platform with a neural network constructor will be developed and put into practice, creating a creative and interactive environment for improving professional training. The main idea of the research project is to apply and study the effectiveness of the integration of this platform as an innovative tool in the educational environment, especially in the context of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is planned to obtain an author’s certificate for the educational platform.
3) The development of scientific and technical design documentation is not planned.
4) The results of the research project will be published in leading domestic and foreign scientific publications and will be available to educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world scientific community.
5) Other measurable results in accordance with the requirements of the tender documentation and the specifics of the project:
– Potential consumers of the results of scientific research will be: teachers, students, young scientists and other participants in the educational process;
– The expected scientific effect is to develop recommendations and methodological approaches for integrating an educational platform with neural networks into the learning process.
– The results obtained can be applied in educational institutions on the basis of a contract by both individuals and responsible persons of educational institutions.;
– The implementation of the results of this project is of great socio-economic importance, which allows:
– improving the educational environment, resulting in the enhancement and development of critical cognitive skills necessary for modern learners. To achieve these effects, collaboration with educational institutions, policy makers, and industry stakeholders is crucial.
– based on the analysis and processing of data obtained as a result of experimental research, a model will be prepared to improve the professional training of students through the use of neural networks.
– an event was held to test the results of research and demonstrate the educational platform, reviews from educational institutions and experts were examined for further refinement and potential scaling of the platform.
– a system of academic materials will be prepared that will implement the individual, differential and personal nature of students’ education, promote the improvement of creative and non-standard thinking abilities among students, as well as self-study professional activities.
