The main goals and objectives of the NIRS competition are:
1. Stimulating research and educational and cognitive activities of students;
2. Selection and support of the most talented and gifted students;
3. Assistance in the formation of the intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
4. Students and student groups of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan can participate in the students’ research papers competition;
5. Independently completed research papers of students in priority areas and topical issues of natural, technical, socio-humanitarian and economic sciences are submitted to the R&D competition.
