As part of the measures implemented at the university, according to the anti-corruption plan for 2021-2022, the project office of “Sanaly Urpak” in the college building of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurova held a TEDx meeting on the topic “Corruption is a disease of society”, which was attended by Zhumabayev Zhandos Sagyndykovich, First Deputy Head of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption (Anti–Corruption Service) in Almaty region, Zhazykbayev Amanzhol Toktarovich, head of the project office of Zhetisu-adaldyk Alany, Amanzhol Toktarovich Zhazykbayev, head of the project office of Sanaly Urpak, Erbol Zhaksybekovich Beisov and students of the college of Zhetysu University “Zhansugurov College”. Within the framework of the friendly meeting, the issues of the emergence of corruption phenomena and their negative effect on both the educational process and the life of every citizen were discussed.
